International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day was first marked in 1911, inspired by a 1908 march in New York demanding better rights for women. I’d normally be writing about inspiring, globally-renowned women, but this year I feel we should be looking closer to home.

So let’s tip our hats & make a toast to the everyday women of 2020/21 who were already pretty busy holding it all together before the atom bomb of home-schooling additionally fell on top of us. Women are blooming superstars. Thank you to each and every one of my friends and family who have kept me sane. You know who you are, you rock.
